Sacramento, CA July 31, 1992 25

Competing in his second NASCAR Nationwide Series season with Turner Scott Motorsports, Kyle Larson joined the organization in 2013 as a rookie. Larson was born to be a competitor and attended his first race at just one week old. Seven years later, he made his first start in a go-kart. After winning across various levels of karting, Kyle moved his sights to a Sprint Car. The prestigious World of Outlaw Sprint Car tour quickly came calling for the Elk Grove, California native and in 2011, Larson won the WoO Sprint Car Gold Cup, swept the Belleville Midget Nationals and the 4-Crown Nationals at just 19- years old. His focus then turned to stockcars in 2012 when NASCAR Sprint Cup Series team, Chip Ganassi Racing, signed Kyle to a driver development contract. Kyle quickly delivered and claimed victory in his first-ever start in a stock car at a Super Late Model race at New Smyrna Speedway. In 2012, Larson proved his talent was undeniable by claiming two NASCAR K&N East Series wins, Rookie of the Year title and the series Championship. This propelled Kyle to a ride with Turner Scott Motorsports in 2013, where he ran a full-time NASCAR Nationwide Series schedule, as well as two NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races, and select sprint car and midget races. The 21-year-old had an impressive season, claiming the 2013 Sunoco Rookie of the Year title and one Truck Series victory. Larson currently runs full time in both the NASCAR Nationwide Series with Turner Scott Motorsports, as well as the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series with Chip Ganassi Racing. This year alone, Larson and his TSM team have scored four wins across three series (Nationwide, K&N West, ARCA). Some may think it’s too much, but Larson only knows one thing; and that’s racing.
